Unlock a student:
Hold + + + when selecting a character. Different characters will result in different Dojos and students.

 

Unlock the final character:
Finish the tournament and the 29th fighter will be unlocked, but you cannot see his face. To unlock him, hold + + + then push . When you face your opponent you will be playing as him.

Confuse your opponent:
Repeatedly press + during versus mode to make it unclear whether you are going to attack.
