Climax mode:
Hold + and press , , , , , , , , , , when the main menu first appears. just enter the code while holding the two shoulder buttons. A sound will confirm correct code entry. If it did not work, try again after restarting the game or entering a race and exiting back to the main menu.

Complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding character and ships.

Antonio Custer and Green Panther: Complete the Platinum Cup under the Master difficulty.

Baba and Iron Tiger: Complete the Silver Cup under the Master difficulty.

Beast Man and Hyper Speeder: Place first overall in the Silver Cup under the Expert difficulty.

Berserker and Red Bull: Get first place overall in all four cups under the Master difficulty. Highlight Captain Falcon at the vehicle selection screen, then press to access the Red Bull.

Billy and Mad Wolf: Place first overall in the Bronze Cup under the Master difficulty.

Bio Rex and Big Fang: Complete the Platinum cup under the Standard difficulty.

Black Shadow and Black Bull: Get first place overall in the Platinum cup under the Standard difficulty.

Blood Falcon and Blood Hawk: Get first place overall in the Silver cup under the Standard difficulty.

Survival mode Violence mode:
Successfully complete Battle mode in Survival to unlock Violence mode.

Time Attack mode Championship mode:
Complete the Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum Cups.

Master difficulty:
Win any cup under the expert difficulty setting.

Character profiles:
Select survival mode, then successfully complete the challenge for a character to unlock the corresponding profile.
